Cane Bay Cottages offer divers some of the most affordable and relaxing accommodations in St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands. Located on the same property as the Cane Bay Dive Shop and across the street from the palm-tree-lined Cane Bay Beach, the cottage units afford guests unlimited shore diving on Cane Bay Wall, one of the island's most popular and accessible dive sites. Five of the 500-plus-square-foot (45 sq m) Standard units feature an air-conditioned bedroom, kitchen or kitchenette and combination living/dining area. Two additional Superior units also include a spacious outdoor deck. Seven-night packages are $1,154 per person for a Standard unit, $1,275 per person for a Superior unit, both based on double occupancy. Packages include accommodations, free Wi-Fi, hotel tax and service charge, round-trip airport transfers, 10 boat dives and unlimited tanks for shore diving. Rates are valid through July 10, 2015, based on availability and subject to change until deposited. Cane Bay Dive Shop offers scheduled and unscheduled dives going out daily between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m., which enables divers to set their own dive schedules. For an additional fee, divers can also participate in a course that supports the Nature Conservancy's Coral Restoration Project on St. Croix, or sign up for an "Eco-friendly" week that includes the coral restoration course, two farm-to-table dinners and a lionfish hunt/dinner in addition to the standard boat dive/unlimited shore diving package. Cane Bay can also set up a TEC/CCR week as well as dive and wine weeks. Upon request, they'll gladly schedule anything from sunrise dives to full moon midnight dives as well.
